The grounds are maintained to the highest standard and are some of the finest to be found anywhere in the area. As well as members whose main interest is sport, there are social members who take advantage of the pleasant surroundings and well stocked bar. The hall, as well as being used for sports and private functions, has social evenings for all club members where family entertainment is laid on. The facilities the club offers are enjoyed by people of all ages and interests.

The club is owned by Ipswich Borough Council but is managed independently by a volunteer committee. This committee have seen the club through difficult times but the future now looks bright. With substantial investment from the borough and the members, much needed refurbishment is about to start on the clubhouse. We are also hopeful of a grant from the Football Foundation. This refurbishment will be phased over five years and will mean that the clubhouse will not only be restored to its former glory, but will boast many features that the original didn’t have.
